Countering Using Fake Teeps

This is a quick re-cap of some add-on material for the teep we’ve been working on in class. The teep is an essential strike for both doing damage and maintaining distance, and it’s one of the first kicks you will learn. Since it’s such a useful technique, there are also lots of ways that people have come up with to counter it. Some people toughen up and take it head on to crumple you up and make you lose your balance, some sweep it, some try to catch it. For those that try to catch it, here are a few simple ways to capitalize on them dropping their hands down to do so.
